Zoom (and similar platforms) and NVLD/DVSD

One of the lasting effects of the Pandemic has, I think, been the growth of Zoom, teams and similar platforms. I absolutely do not function well, or all east optimally, using with these, and am curious as to what the experiences of other people withNVLD/DVSD have been, what strategies you use to minimize discomfort (there’s something that creeps me out about talking to disembodied heads while trying to maintain something that at least appears to be eye contact - I tend to look at people’s noses instead), etc.
